We have hired Graley Concrete twice now. The first time to take out a sidewalk and some concrete steps and then repour a concrete sidewalk and build a block retaining wall.

The second time was to tear out a garage pad that was put in by another company.

After 4 years it was severally cracked and heaving in the spring thaw, ruining the garage. Plus take out a front sidewalk and steps and put in stamped concrete and new steps.

The night they came out to give us the bid, he was on time. Very friendly. We discussed our options on colors and patterns for the stamped concrete. A suggestion was made to make the entrance steps wider. We did that and are very happy.

We accepted the bid and discussed when the work would be scheduled. I was waiting to put my flowers in until after the work, otherwise my flowers would be in the way the crew doing their job. I got a call a couple of weeks later saying they could move our work date up so I could get my flowers in before Memorial Day. I appreciated that.

They came to do the work on the scheduled date. When they tore out the concrete that another company had  installed 4 years ago, they found it did not have any mesh or re-bar in it. That is why it was cracking so badly. That is a shortcut that other company took to save themselves some money. The next day they showed up on time, worked quickly and finished the job. The concrete looks great. We are happy.

We had four estimates for approximately 420sf of stamped colored concrete patio.  Graley came in second lowest bid but I felt more comfortable going with them as opposed to the lowest bidder.  The patio turned out great despite some pitfalls for their crew.  We didn’t have an existing patio so it may have been an easier project rather than tearing up an in-place patio.

We love the shape and colors chosen.  I thought they were incredibly professional and Trevor was really considerate to what we were looking for.

We got 3 estimates as recommended by our landscape person. Based on the prompt, friendly response when I e-mailed Trevor at Graley, the ease of dealing with him in discussing our project when he came out and his reasonable price quote, we felt very confident in going with the company.  Trevor gave us a time frame and he and his crew came when they said they would. They were very nice guys, courteous and such hard workers! We had a landscape plan with a free form patio. One of the bidders said we would have to lay out where we wanted the patio even though we had a scale drawing. Graley spent time using the drawing to lay out the patio, consulting us as to what we thought and doing a superb job of laying out the curving sidewalk and patio exactly as the drawing showed. I wanted the mulch area between the sidewalk and patio a little wider and they were very obliging in adjusting the space. We were very pleased with the way they stamped the flagstone pattern and were able to make the patio color so it wasn’t a solid color but making it look more like stone. They also used their bobcat to grade the limestone in our driveway so it was level with the new concrete pad and transitioned nicely between the two areas. They did a very nice job of cleaning up the area and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finished project and the way the job was done. We have finished landscaping the area with plants, shrubs and mulch and it has exceeded our expectations!

Trevor was very responsive to initial request for information and helped us determine the best solution to our needs/wants. While not a large job, we got the A-team at site to do the work. Trevor and his team walked me through the process they were about to start, and answered many questions along the way. End result, beautiful colored, stamped concrete sidewalk+patio with a upscale contrast color border. We couldn’t have been happier, AND the jobsite looked like they had never been there. Very clean. Trevor was very responsive obtaining an estimate for my work needed, answering my questions and receiving his insurance information. On the day of service, he took the time to review questions I had with other concrete areas. He gave me peace of mind knowing what I saw was normal for concrete. Trevor showed integrity with not trying to tell me work was needed when it wasn’t. I am very satisfied with the quality of Trevor’s workmanship. The transition from my driveway to my garage is so smooth now. I would highly recommend Graley Concrete Construction.

Trevor was great to work with. Punctual, responsive, professional. He also offered aesthetic judgements to make the final result look better – that is really what set him apart from the other bidder we talked to. And Trevor (Graley) was also a bit less expensive. They did good work, cleaned up well, and stayed right at their initial estimate. I hate spending money, but this seemed ‘all good.’

Trevor was awesome to work with. They showed up on time and set up the form the first day. It started to rain so they came back 2 days later when it stopped raining to pour the concrete. It looks fabulous and they went above and beyond by moving the surrounding rock up to the patio. The cost was less than all other estimates we got and there were no additional costs. We would definitely use them again!

Trevor and his team responded quickly to the RFQ. Even though the original install was done seven plus years ago by a different contractor, they did an excellent job with matching the repair with the original project.
